Course Description
This course has been especially designed for scientists and technologists who would like to further study Greek language for scientific purposes. MODERN GREEK FOR SCIENTISTS Online Course is the ideal course for all those who are involved in any scientific field, such as engineering, applied science and technology, etc., where Greek is used and want to improve their communicative skills in a professional environment.
Recommended level of Greek B2.
Recommended 10 or 20 lessons according to the student’s personal needs.

Course Structure
A series of private or semi-private (suitable for up to 2 persons) lessons customized according to the students’ specific needs. Every lesson includes a chapter on vocabulary with useful words and expressions in Greek and both listening and speaking interactive exercises which will allow the student to communicate in a spontaneous and clear manner.

Lessons Content

  • Listening comprehension followed by a text in Greek to introduce the topic of each lesson.
  • Reading comprehension of a Greek scientific-related text to deepen the subject of each lesson.
  • A variety of exercises to enhance Greek language and grammar skills for effective communication using clear scientific language.
  • A glossary containing all the most relevant words and phrases from each lesson to practice and improve Greek scientific terminology any time.
  • Videos and audio files containing scientific-related scenarios in real life with native Greek speakers to practice and improve conversational skills and build self-confidence while speaking in Greek.
  • Presentation of useful cultural elements and tips to know before a social or professional interaction in Greece.
