Native Greek speakers GREEK LANGUAGE TEAM teachers are native Greek speakers living in Greece and abroad. All of them have graduated from different universities and have solid experience in teaching Greek as a foreign language. They love teaching and they always have friendly and dedicated attitude towards their students and their different cultural backgrounds.
English, French, Spanish and German speakers Plus, our teachers are fluent in more than one foreign language like English, French, Spanish, German and they can keep you actively engaged during the learning process.

Eleni Voulgari │ Ελένη Βούλγαρη
Founder and Director of Studies at the GREEK LANGUAGE TEAM
Eleni Voulgari was born and raised in central Greece and she is living in the city of Larissa since 2007.
Eleni holds a Bachelor in Translation Studies from the Ionian University in Corfu and she has been running successfully a Translation Agency in her hometown for more than ten years so far.
After having translated thousands of words all these years from English, French and Spanish into Greek she decided to dedicate her time to the promotion of Greek language and culture.
She has been involved in teaching Modern Greek after being awarded the certification of completion for attending the programme “Teaching Greek as a second / foreign language” organized by the educational institution Centre for the Greek Language supervised by the Greek Ministry of Education.
When she does not translate or teach Modern Greek to Professionals she handles organizational and financial issues of the GREEK LANGUAGE TEAM.
Isidoros Anagnostopoulos │ Ισίδωρος Αναγνωστόπουλος
Co-Founder and Program Coordinator at the GREEK LANGUAGE TEAM
Isidoros Anagnostopoulos was born and he is still living in the city of Larissa. Isidoros holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Technological Educational Institute of Larissa and a Master of Science in Management from the Staffordshire University.
During his undergraduate studies he participated in the Erasmus Student Mobility Programme and studied in the University of Southern Denmark in Odense for 5 months.
He is in charge of administration issues and the social media of the GREEK LANGUAGE TEAM.
He also assists all GREEEK LANGUAGE TEAM teachers by applying his innovative ideas in Greek language learning procedure. He is willing to provide answers and help at any time. Apart from being native Greek speaker he speaks English.
Katia Voulgari │ Κάτια Βούλγαρη
Teacher at the GREEK LANGUAGE TEAM
Katia Voulgari was born and raised in Thessaloniki and she is currently living in the UK.
Katia has graduated from the Department of Primary Education at the University of Ioannina and she continued her studies in the University College London by obtaining the Master of Science in Speech, Language and Communication Needs in Schools.
Katia has been teaching Modern Greek as a foreign language in Greek Community Schools in Canterbury and Folkstone since 2015 and she has four years of experience in teaching Greek to English speaking students (both children and adults) on one to one basis.
She is native Greek speaker and she is fluent in English.
Melina Vouri │ Μελίνα Βούρη
Teacher at the GREEK LANGUAGE TEAM
Melina Vouri was born and raised in Arta, a small city in northwestern Greece but she is living in Thessaloniki at the moment. Melina studied German Philology at the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki. During her undergraduate studies she participated in the Erasmus Student Mobility Programme and studied in the Kirchliche Pädagogische Hochschule in Krems, Austria for 5 months. She holds the certification of completion for attending the programme “Teaching Greek as a second / foreign language” organized by the Centre for the Greek Language under the supervision of the Greek Ministry of Education. She is teaching Greek to German speaking students and German to Greek speaking students online and she is very experienced in teaching both languages to children and adults at all levels. Apart from being native Greek speaker she speaks German fluently.
